Claimant says:
"trans union sent me a e-mail on february 2,2013. This is the first e-mail I ever received from this company. I called them because the e-mail stated they were receiving their fee without incident. I called them to ask what fee they were they were talking about. They informed me that I signed up for credit monitoring in October and they have been charging me $17.00 a month since October, 2012. I told them I never signed up for credit monitoring, that I am a disabled Veteran making $700.00 a month and caring for 2 sons on my own. I have no reason to have my credit monitored. Not to mention they never in all that time sent me a credit report so they were charging me for services not rendered. They refused to remove the money they charged. They did however suggest I go through mounds of paperwork to say I didn't sign up for this service and that was no guarantee that my money would be returned. I told them all they had to do was look in their files and they would see I never used their services, but for some reason they refused that. I guess they assume I won't do the paperwork and they will be able to keep the money. I reexplained I am a disabled Veteran that makes $700.00 a month and care for two boys $17.00 a month sounds like very little to most people, to us its three dinners. They were rude, unconcerned about my plight and uninterested in returning the money they stole. They didn't even care I was a Veteran, but the way they were talking they were clearly uneducated with no formal education to be in the position they were in and its doubtful they served one day of their time for our Country.
