Claimant says:
"Patient for over three years. Problems with unprofessional medical staff (Stephanie and Chisritina.) Out of three years prescriptions called in wrong at least 75 percent of time. Last three visits have been really traumatic for me. Specifically made two unscheduled appointments to resolve issues with prescriptions MADE by DR(with staff member brought in ) . Was terminated by Stephanie after trying to make an appointment with Dr. to address this issue yet again. Have never been able to follow my diet regiment with correct Prescriptions. Last prescription called in 2 weeks after Appointment(called several times still being VERY PATIENT)And still prescription called in wrong by Stephanie. My Patient Dr. confidentiality broken by medical
professionals in said clinic. Escorted off property when trying to make an appointment and obtain my med records. After being accused of being belligerent and verbally inappropriate I made sure to take witnesses with me. That can be proved because the 2nd visit they filled out paper work and discussed diet programs with the staff. I'm absolutely appalled of my treatment by said professional staff . I started having anxiety and panic attacks when having to deal with the staff about my meds. I was actually told (and everyone else in CLINIC and via phone to other clinic location that MY DR. WOULD NEVER WRITE THIS PRESCRIPTION. by the medical STAFF. I was patient with all of the mistakes that were made for three years. And did without my prescribed meds to avoid anxiety and panic attacks brought on by my treatment from the professional staff members at said facility. I came to this clinic with the understanding that I would transfer my business to this clinic only if I could receive the same diet plan that I was receiving at anoughther facility. If after I gave suggested meds a try and I was not happy I would be put on the same regiment that I had been on at the other facility. I have Really been patient with this situation for the duration and if I was a little annoyed after thinking I had the situation straight (AGAIN AND WITH SAME PROFESSIONAL THAT WAS MADE AWARE AGAIN OF MY PERSRIPTION VIA CONFRENCE WITH ME AND THE DR ) Still she called my prescription in wrong. And when I called to inform her of this NEGLIGENCE AGAIN! She again informed me that she could not change the prescription that was prescribed. I never asked for her to change anything . I only asked that they call my prescription in right (that's why I had a meeting with her and the Dr. AGAIN!!!!!!!!) If I had a PROBLEM WITH BEING BELLIGERENT DONT YOUTHINK THAT MIGHT HAVE COME OUT AFTER THE FIRST YEAR OF CONTINUALLY PUTTING UP WITH MISTAKE AFTER MISTAKE ? And made to feel like im a druggy begging them for medication. That's why I PAY TO SEE THE DR WHO WRITES MY PERSCRIPTION . I have been intimidated and abused by certain staff members and WILL NOT TOLLERATE YOUR IGNORANCE ANY MORE. At the time of last unscheduled Appointment with Stephanie and Dr. Brooks I apologized to Stephanie for maybe getting a little loud but felt after 2 + yrs of patience with the same issue over and over again and not getting the meds as prescribed and not getting that corrected because I feel intimidated by Stephanie. IM going to leave it at that for now because im stressing. I this is absolutely ridiculous. .Dr. Brooks was aware of my dissatisfaction with the staff members that publicly discussed my business at the last appointment I had with him .At that time I really felt that everybody was on the same page. But still I had problems .My last prescription was not filled until 2 Wks after appointment date and called in wrong yet AGAIN. And called in by Stephanie. I called Stephanie and again she acted as if I were asking her to change the Dr. orders. She also made comments about me to the pharmacy staff I don't Know what her personal problem with me is but its not funny anymore and I wont be treated like I have a problem because you cant the Dr. Orders right the first. hundred times. Since Waiting to be escorted from property. I have repeatedly left messages
for Dr. Brooks and as of yet have had no response. The letter of Termination was not very professional it was not signed by anyone. Nancy Hite."

  • I would like to make sure that Mr. Brooks is aware that I have been trying to contact him for sometime. I'm not sure why he or any other medical professional at this facility has not responded. I am sending a letter via the post office. I will no longer make any "personal" attempts to resolve this matter unless otherwise directed.

Message from Claimant: Since I cant get a response from any professionals at this establishment I am revising my settlement. I no longer wish just to talk to Mr. Brooks. Now I am seeking reimbursement for every month that my prescriptions were not called in right. Mr Brooks was made aware that I suffer anxiety and PTS and this experience is definitely causing me damages.
