Claimant says:
"When I started with the company my first weeks pay check was held on the promise that if I decided to part ways with the company it's would be returned to me. In addition to that I've had an extremely hard time collecting the commission owed from the month of January. As a result of the way the owner approached and debated the expected commission, as well as the business reputation, and constant service complaints I left the company for a better opportunity. I recently made an attempt to collect the first weeks pay and attempted to avoid the subject of commission all together because I wanted to avoid an argument. The owners response was extremely combative and laced with threats of legal and civil action. I intend to file suit in small claims court Monday morning when the courts reopen.
I've been very thorough in documenting the commission and sales I was responsible for as well as the first weeks pay. Is there anyway I can avoid have to sue this guy??"
