Claimant says:
"On 8/13/12 we took my son's car there to have it repaired. jim the mgr of that dept said that the car would be ready in a week. it is 8/31/12 & still no car. jim keeps telling my son after someone called saying the car was ready on wednesday. My son went up there to pay them & get his car which they then said wasn't ready. My son had taken a cab there so he was left stranded with no way to get to work or back home. I have been taking the city bus to my dr's office which takes almost 4-5 hrs on the bus to get back home. I have an infected toe & both my legs have infections & am on bed rest due to a blood clot. Needless to say it is very painful taking the bus but I am on a limited income (retired) so I can not afford a cab. A loaner car should be made available to us until they finally get the work done so I can get to my dr appointments or the hospital as needed & my son can get to work. randy reed 'sphone # is 816/232-7704 & jim is the manager of the collision repair dept."

  • jim claims that he called my son around 12pm to tell him his car would be ready. no call was received. my son jeremy called them about 11:45am to see if his car was ready & was told no. jim's call shows up on my son phone log around 3pm. my son was already at work which is what i told jim yesterday. jim refused to let me come get the car because i would not be able to pay him. i responded that we would have liked to have the car back in a week also as promised. it would have saved me a lot of pain & medical bills.
