Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I have a real estate investment company and purchased a property in a different state. I started my first account with Paypal to pay my small family owned businesses working on the property that do not have ways to charge my Business Credit Card as payment. My CC Company has their own 100% money back if a fraudulent charge). In my first transaction through Paypal, Paypal flagged my account and would not let me pay the vendors with my Credit Card, because the amount was too much (just over 3K). I spoke to 3 people, including a manager of Paypal that told me they didn't want to be liable to pay $1,000 if a claim was filed (they are a billion dollar company!). The manager also said that he had no way of helping me, and to make the payment outside of Paypal. He also said start with small transactions first to build up trust with the company. If you know anything about real estate, the bills aren't cheap, and I don't have any small transactions that are under 1K. Paypal is suppose to be a company that says you can charge up to 50K-100K through their service with your bank account, CC, etc., but they won't allow me to charge my credit card and make money off of the transaction of using there service as a middle man? Someone please let me know why Paypal won't help small business owners and if you are having the same issues. If you are, file a complaint to change the rules on this. If you are higher than a Manager and can make changes to these rules, please call me, because I have several recommendations how you can improve your service that is suppose to be invaluable."

Sophie Blythe (Comment):
"I don't really understand this dispute. Paypal advertises a service whereby you can pay anyone (I've used it myself to pay invoices to people who happened to be related to me). But they're not letting you use that service - even though your credit card company will allow that size of payment? What is PayPal's liability if you use a card? This is what I see - they don't offer you protection on such transactions, which is fine by you - so what do they care?

"My thoughts exactly, which is why I filed the claim. I am waiting to hear back from the Company. I don't have small transactions with paying vendors for my real estate renovation needs, which is why I need PayPals assistance to pay them."
