Statement of Claim
"I had them come out to take care of an investation of yellow jackets -The first man who came out said he had found THE nest and that there was a 60 day guarentee - 3 days later I found a nest he missed-I called and they sent out another rep-who said he took care of it
I still have yellow jackets and they double billed me-I sent them $140 for the first rep-But I will not pay for the second and I do not want them to mess with my credit rating"

  • I am not paying the fees posted her for Mr. Quail's account. He has paid us nothing. We treated his home twice on two different occasions, in two different locations and I have returned his check to him. We did give him a 60 day coverage for the actual specific nests treated. We did not treat his entire house and he did not request that we treat anything but the specific areas. If we had treated the entire house the fee would have been approximately $275 plus tax. He was charged the appropriate fees and because of his attitude toward us and the fact that we could not even speak when he called, we returned his one check for $140 (which did not cover the total charged, anyway). Mr. Quail can pay the fees here. He has already cost us enough money. Also, I think this arbitration forum is being misused by him and it makes this look far more awful than it ever is or was. This is blown way out of proportion. We did the work contracted for, we have not accepted payment and this is just a situation to chalk up to experience.

Message from Patton Pest Control, Bainbridge, Ohio: ON 10-4-13 WE TREATED YELLOW JACKETS FOR MR QUAIL PER HIS REQUEST, THE MESSAGE WAS "BEES ALL AROUND DECK GETTING IN LAUNDRY ROOM, CHECK OVERHANGS EAST AND WEST SIDES AS WELL, $110-180", WE CHARGED HIM $130 PLUS TAX, ON 10-10-13 HE REQUESTED THAT WE "STOP BY AND TREAT OUTBUILDINGS, THESE WILL BE ANOTHER CHARGE BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT TREATED THEM YET, CALL HIM ON WAY OVER, GO IN AFTERNOON". THESE ARE THE ACTUAL QUOTES OF THE MESSAGES WE TOOK. HE CALLED OUR OFFICE AND SCREAMED AT HELEN AND ME (PATTIE) AND WOULD NOT EVEN LET US SPEAK. WE WERE TOTALLY UNABLE TO EVEN SAY A WORD, HE ENDED HIS CONVERSATION WITH ME SAYING HE WOULD NOT PAY FOR THE SECOND SERVICE AND HUNG UP ON ME. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO EVEN SPEAK TO THIS MAN, MUCH LESS REASON WITH HIM. WE TREATED TWO DIFFERENT AREAS, WE DO WARRANTY (WE NEVER GUARANTEE ANYTHING!) THE ACTUAL NESTS TREATED AND WE ARE PROFESSIONALS AND EXPERTS AT BEES AND YELLOWJACKETS. AFTER RECEIVING HIS CHECK FOR $140 I PUT IT BACK IN AN ENVELOPE (THIS WAS 2-3 DAYS AG0) AND RETURNED IT TO HIM WITH A POST IT ON IT SAYING "GOD BLESS YOU, PATTIE PATTON". HE HAS NEITHER PAID FOR ANY SERVICE NOR WILL WE EVER DO ANY SERVICE FOR HIM EVER AGAIN. HE IS RUDE, WILL NOT LET ANYONE EXPLAIN ANYTHING AND WE PREFER NOT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS MAN. THIS SO CALLED DISPUTE IS OVER NOTHING BECAUSE HE HAS PAID US NOTHING AND PROBABLY TORE UP THE ENVELOPE WITHOUT EVEN SEEING THERE WAS A CHECK INSIDE. WE ARE AN EXCELLENT COMPANY IN BUSINESS SINCE 1964 AND WE DO NOT NEED CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS. THANK YOU. DO WITH THIS WHAT YOU MAY, BUT IF YOU PRINT ANYTHING I EXPECT YOU TO PRINT OUR RESPONSE, ALSO. WE DID NOTHING BUT THE WORK CONTRACTED FOR BY THE PERSON ENTERING THIS COMPLAINT AND BECAUSE OF HIS ABUSIVENESS HAVE RETURNED HIS CHECK TO HIM AND CREDITED HIS ACCOUNT AND NEVER WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH HIM AGAIN. I BELIEVE HE IS JUST TRYING TO GET OUT OF PAYING A BILL, WELL HE HAS. PATTIE PATTON, CFO, PATTON PEST CONTROL CO.
