Claimant says:
"We ordered 500 bales of coastal Bermuda hay from Mike Bingham, paid for by check July 11 of this summer. What was delivered was mixed grass, dirt, sticks, trash unfit for anything...It had been baled wet and is full of white powdery mildew, which makes it toxic to horses. He has baled hay for years, and knew exactly what he was sending us. We thought that the drought had ruined his fields, so we didn't do anything about it. This week I went to a local festival and saw his "good hay" which is what we had originally ordered. When I called him I found that had 8000 bales of the kind of hay we ordered and paid for sitting in his barn... I asked him why we got trash hay and he initially said we got the wrong shipment and he'd make it good right away... This was followed by an email stating that he'd "make it good" for an additional $1500.oo He said that he sent us what we ordered. I ordered bermuda, got Johbnston Grass, Kentucky Fescue (both of which are toxic to horses) a little bermuda, sticks, mold and mud. We provide hippotherapy for crippled children, and do not HAVE an extre 1500 to feed his greed. We would like the hay we PAID FOR, and the removal of the trash he sent"
