Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"My daughter order hair online from a company called Luscious Life Hair. She placed the order on 10/21 (I believe). On November 20th she had yet to receive the product, so she contacted them via twitter. They then in turn apologized and said they would have the order shipped out right away. She once again never received her order, but was then contacted by someone name Kay who worked for the company who again apologized and said that they would have the item shipped. After several emails, and still no product I got involved. Honestly this should've been addressed much sooner, however my daughter was so nonchalant and laid back because she really wanted this hair. I then had several emails back and forth with an individual (no name given) who advised me that she needed to file a dispute through PayPal. I questioned why this needed to be done and was told that they were unable to refund her the monies back to her credit card that was used. I reached out to PayPal and advised them of this. I explained to the representative the issue, and advised him that at the time the product was purchased and paid for that my daughter had just recently open an account through Bank of America, and that she paid for her order with the temporary card that they provided to her. I advised him that they claimed that they were unable to give the credit back to that card (which did not make sense to me at the time). However the representative advised that even though the card was a temp through her bank that, that should not stop them from giving the credit back, because the card would still be attached to the actual account. So I then reached out to the individual I had been dealing with via email and explained this to her. She replied 2 days later only because I had to email a 2nd time to confirm whether or not they would be giving the credit back. The young lady advised that they would proceed with trying to refund the credit again and would keep us posted on what the outcome was. This was on November 29th that she finally responded and said that they would try to refund again, and would send another email if it goes through. Well no credit and no email. I have emailed since then another 2x and this time no one is replying back to any of my emails. I even in my last 2 emails threaten to contact you guys and still have had no luck. My daughter was charged $185 and has no product and still has not received a credit. Can you please help out with this. I'm at my wits end trying to get this resolved and have had no such luck"
