Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"doing work on my home thru Brevard Housing grant. They did inferior work, when I brought it to their attention excuses were made or I was told that I should lower my expectations on the quality of work being done on my home. Everyone (subcontractors) told me that they did not reduce or give special prices for the work being done. They took out good quality items ( they may have been older but still in good working order) and replaced with inferior quality items, and for Larcon and a couple of other sub contractors, they were rude did not tell me even though I asked I was told getting same quality items as I had. This was totally false. when I had a problem with something they would not tell me the reason even though they knew what was causing problem. Suzie Biery, was rude and unprofessional with me, lied to me to my face. Called rep from BHHD who was suppose to be on my side, covered for them and would not consider my side. I had to call code enforcement to get to get a hazard fixed. I have pictures of the work and alot of it I have already had to get someone else to fix. this is only part of it, have more if you would like to see and hear about. But they only work on the rehab of homes beloning to the disabled and low income. they take advantage of us, and we are just suppose to be grateful and take the poor work done and with no professional attitude. Everyone gets what they deserve (pay) except the client or person who gets the grant. I cannot get a retun call from the county either. I simply want people to know that the work is not done correctly and they think we should just let it go."
