"My ex-boss, wrongfully terminated me because I informed her both by letter and phone of my intention to file a claim with the Department of Labor & Licensing for non-payment of wages. she is not paying her drivers at the state wages / scale pay, she is legally obligated to pay them. she is aware of her wrong doing, and admits to the fact that she owes her drivers this money, and that the drivers are right. However, still refuses to pay. whenever a driver confronts her on the situation at hand, she fires them. I am in the process of filing claim with Department of Labor & Licensing, and consulting with a baltimore attorney, that is eager to take the case due to her wrong doing. Employers like this should not be in business, its wrong and everyone should know that Donna Kay Maietta of Kay trucking is indeed a slumboss!! My attorney will be trying to round up all ex employees of Kay trucking that were wronged by them, and hopefully she will learn her lesson. She should be stripped of her license, and made not to ever do business in the state of Maryland agan. Employers like this, give all employers a bad name."
