Claimant says:
"I purchased a house in PA for my daughter at (see private message). Joseph Smith was contracted to fix part of a roof that the inspector said needed to be replaced. It is a flat roof over one section of the house. This was last Jan. 2013. The seller had to pay for it, but it was never fixed correctly. Right after he replaced the room, the room underneath was drenched with water after a rain and he had to get his insurance man to come out and cover the damage to the tiles and rug which had to be replaced. My daughter had buckets sitting trying to catch the water. He said it did not seal correctly and would come out a re-seal it. Well this has gone on for a year now and the room still leaks. My daughter recently took a chance and put up new ceiling tiles after he resealed again several times. She even had heavy plastic put up above the tiles and guess what about 25 of the tiles have spotted after the last snow. We tried to call him again and he would not answer our calls. The Real Estate agent even called and said he just got mad and said he was not coming out again that we were just trying to get more money from him. I recently had another roofer come out and give me a price which would be $1300.00 or possible maybe more to fix the job he botched up. He said no wonder it is leaking he pieced it and just caulked between sheets instead of putting a solid roof on. How can I get him to be responsible for this as now the seller had originally had to pay for it and now I am going to have to put the $1300.00 or more too have it fixed. He said he will probably have to tear up what already has been done."
