Claimant says:
"I was an "Albatross" (paying) member for 2 years, while I was in Paris. I have returned to NYC and do not need or want my membership. I saw they posted a new membership fee for $80.09 on 7/29, to my checking account. I immediately contacted them, advising I did not want to renew my membership, and to please refund my payment.
They advised me they will not refund my payment, even though I contacted them as soon as they posted my payment. They said I had to check some box before the payment date. This is fine print and a technicality they are using to rip off people. I never heard of a group or business not offering an immediate refund, if requested in a timely manner. Not only is this abhorrent customer service, it is not right.
Please help get my refund!"
