Claimant says:
"Heritage replaced a sewage line on my property. I knew there would be damage to the land and some of my plants, but that is not my complaint. My complaint is that they had to move a HUGE concerte slab in front of my doorway. They did not take the time to properly replace the slab when they finished the job. The slab now dips on one side and is very unlevel. I cannot use my outside stairs or front door because of the mess they left. I do not have the money to call back the guy with the back hoe to do the job right. Heritage said they would give me $300.00 towards getting the situation corrected. That won't even pay to have a contractor come to build new steps and front entrance."

  • I feel Hertiage left my yard in a mess when they put in a new sewage pipe on my property. However, my complaint is with the fact that they did not replace the slab in front of my entrance so it was level and could be used. It would have taken them a little longer to make sure the gound was level before replacing the slab. Now they wish to give me $300.00 to fix it. That won't even pay the cost of the contractor to put in a wooden pad. It would take a back hoe to move the slab and why they didn't do the job right in the first place, when they had the equipment here is beyond my understanding.
