Claimant says:
"I moved to crosswinds at rolling rd 4/31/14 after numerous cancellations and was given 4 different address.finally , I was given address 2306 Sarrington ct on 4/30/14. The next day i rented the uhaul and was as I was turning into the complex I was given another address because that was no longer available although i had signed the least less than 12 hours earlier. I was given 4 Henley ct. As i entered the home, I noticed that it had not been cleaned, carpet dirty, not painted, ants everywhere and the mice dropping were horrendous to say the least. I immediately went to the rental office and was told that the repairs would be made. the front door is rotten,front windows filthy and need to be replaced, mice everywhere and droppings. Windows filthy and do not open, patio door wont lock,smoke detectors do not work ect,ect ect. There is no way that this place was inspected prior to me leasing. 4/15/14, I received a letter tthat someone would be here on 4/16/14. Of course no one came. i am treated so rude and unfair by the staff everytime I go there until I just give up. That is why I am contacting you. The leasing staff especially Jackie Johnson, Sonya, and Joe are very unprofessional. This place is really awful and mice infested. I have cleaned the best i can but, I am tired. Please send someone to view the things mentioned in my complaint. No one will come here as of today. I am 81 years old and I lost my husband and wanted to sell my home and move into a smaller place.I have been trying to clean and make repairs myself to the point that I was admitted to the hospital on 4/15/14 due to chest pains which was later contributed to stress. This is awful and I really need someone to act on by behalf.My daughter Wanda has permission to speak on my behalf but they wont even give her the code for the alarm system so that I can at least set it. This has been a nightmare for me. i even contacted Harborgroup management and left a message for Kate @443-559-5628 to call me back on 04/02/14. she has not called me back as of yet either. The market rent is 1075.00 monthly and I just feel like that is a lot of money for someone on a fixed income to pay for such an awful place to live. I would like repairs made now or all monies due put into in escrow account until so. I really would like a refund of all of my money paid and out of this lease. Please contact me 2 410-922-4059.
