Claimant's opinion: Threating me repeatly, threating to sue me for defamation of character regarding her, when my employer defamated, her own charater when she told me that she put my paycheck in the mail on September 5, 2013, and a few weeks went by and I never received it in the mail, I currently do not work for the employer any longer, but in a letter dated October 3, 2013, she threating me that she would report me to the North Carolina (NAR), Nurse Aide Registry, when I have done nothing wrong my employer paid me one paycheck for a week of work on August 30, for working from August 12-16, 2013, after that time I was working under the assumption that I would be paid and 2 weeks later Septmber 6th no pay, my employer stated she put the check in the mail on September 5, 2013, as of this date October 5, 2013 the check has not arrived at my resdient, I did a change of address March 2013, because I moved into the same complex just a different building, and all of my other mail arrived safely and in a timely manner, but this "check" that was mailed on September 5, 2013 per my employer, has not arrived as I stated as of this date October 5.
Claimant's opinion: Lack of communication on my employer's part, due to her not contacting me or keeping me informed on the "check" that she stated was placed in the mail, on September 5th, i had to contact my employer regarding my paycheck, and her response was "wait for the mail" it was put in the mail, and YOU have to wait for the mail to circulate, before she would put a "Stop Payment" on the check that she stated was put in the mail on September 5th, my employer per the client's daugher, my employer was paid over $1100.00, pluse additional monies, to pay me for my services, until the insurance would start paying the invoices that my employer were submitting for papyment, my employer recevied paid invoices from the insurance as well, so there was a " double" payment being received by my employer, but NO paychecks were given to me.
Claimant's opinion: This employerd promised to pay me via direct deposit, back in April of 2012, when I signed up to be an employee, of her agency, and with this last client my employer chose to pay me via a check, in which was 4 weeks late, this employer was 2 paychecks behind in paying me on time. My employer stated that, the check for August 19-30th was placed in the mail on September 5th, and was mailed to my previous address, in which a change of address was submitted to the post office, on March 2013, prior to me moving to a new building within the same complex, so the mail would have been forwared appropriately. I feel that my employer was dishonest, and the promise of paying me on time was not rendered. I have been very professional throughout this entire process and my employer has been very abusive verbally and mentally with me, and why I do not understand, when she was in the wrong, when she failed to pay me my paychecks due.
Claimant's opinion: I was without wages from August 19-30th, September 6th-13th, and these wages were paid on September 21st via my PO Box address, she also deducted monies from my paycheck to help her with the cost of finally stopping payment on the check, that she stated she placed in the mail on September 5th, this was not fair or by state statues, my employer was and is very dishonest.
Claimant's opinion: This employer called me on September 23rd and verbally abused me, cursing me, and threating me that I "better" not try to do any under handed stuff, and go and work with the client in question at the community where the client resides, she was mentally abusive, stating to me that I should have kept my "dam" mouth shut, and she does not like "white people" knowing aobut her business, and I stated I was not getting paid by you, and I inquired in which I had that right to do, I inquired with the client's daughter as to what was going on, and she stated she paid my employer $1100.00 one check and over $400 another check as a buffer, until the insurance starts paying the invoices billed, and my employer received payment for those invoices as well from the insurance company, and still never paid me my 4 weeks of pay.
Claimant's opinion: This is a very dishonest company and employer, and I want her to be reported as such, and loose her license to practice as a placement agency, and I was her to pay me for pain and suffering and loss of wages, that were not given to me on a timely manner, and I had to make ends meet with my son, being a single mother, and I remained professional with my employer in which she did not, this is unacceptable, I would like for her to be held accountable for her actions.
Claimant's opinion: I suffered verbal and mental abuse, from my employer because I remained professional and calm through this ordeal, and did not have money to take care of my son and I, but I continued to report to work on time with the client, and continued to represent my employer in the highest character as possbile, until she told me " that I needed to wait on my paychecks" and wait for the mail to circulate, and she does not want to pay 30+ dollars to have the check stopped, and I offered to pay it and she said "Just wait" give it time, it should not take days or a week for mail to circulate from one address to another within the same city, my employer was dishonest and she need to be held accountable for what she did.
