    Dear Mr. King:

    This is in response to claim received from PeopleClaim.com, regarding your lost luggage. On behalf of Greyhound Lines, Inc., please accept our apology for the delay in replying to you.

    The Bus Industry is governed by tariffs from which we are prohibited to deviate. The terms of these tariffs provide, in part, that the ending carrier is responsible for the search when a piece of luggage is delayed. If the luggage is not located the ending carrier will be responsible for responding to the customer’s claim.

    Our records indicate that although the majority of your trip was on Greyhound schedules the ending carrier on your schedule was Jefferson Lines. Therefore your loss is the responsibility of Jefferson Lines Any future correspondence concerning this issue should be addressed to the following:
