Claimant says:
"Gehan Homes LTD, located and dong business in the Frisco, Texas area, made several mistakes on our purchase contract for new construction.

1) the contract was not fully executed by Gehan, therefore holding up our loan,

2) Gehan made a mistake on our sales price and overcharged us $8,000 for upgrades, they corrected the contract but we were very suspicious of what happened. My fiance and I have over 20 yrs of real estate experience as loan officers and the mistake was not clear in the documents and we were never explained how or where the error was.

3) We were told we were too late to pick any upgrades, However, the contract indicated we were on time to pick some upgrades per the time line of the contract.

4. Contract provided no finish date for construction

5. The salesman promised that Gehan would refund our deposit should we cancel at any point.

We decided to cancel the contract after these mistakes and they kept our deposit of $1,500.00. We feel considering all the above we were entitled to a refund. Gehan had clearly an unenforceable and invalid contract."
