Claimant says:
"Purchased a home from this realty/contractor on July 25, 2012. I received a certify letter stating: a licensed contractor and that all these things have been completed as follows: AC & FURNACE / WATER HEATER / ALL PLUMBING / ALL ELECTRICAL & ROOFING is in satisfactory and working order. On Aug.9, 2012 the AC stopped. Greg sent an AC person (RODNEY) to home, he states the unit is gone completely. I requested 3 inspections on this home, each one dealing with the AC unit which is why I requested a certify letter. I was asked to meet someone at my home on Tues.,14/ Wed.,15 someone is looking and pricing a unit. Thurs.(Greg) said "We found a unit and we"ll put it in tomorrow at 9:00 A.M. Friday no one showed /it did rain. Sat. (Rodney called to say I"ll be during your unit today, didn't show. Home is 90 degrees while waiting on someone to come every day."

  • Greg Griffin is a liar. He sold the house I currently reside in. He didn't even tell me. When I moved in three years ago I gave him money down to eventually buy the house. The house started having problems. I came home from work one evening and water flooded my bedroom. I called him several times before he would come out. He finally sent to plumbers out months apart earlier this year. Both said the showers needed to be torn out and treated. I never heard from him again other than to pick up the rent. That next month I get a surprise visit from a process server for eviction. I'm wondering why because I know I'm current on my rent. Come to find out that he sold the house the month before but he came and collected rent that he wasnt entitled to. He never said a word. Thank God I paid him with cashier checks so I had my receipts. Be very careful if you choose to deal with him. He is a scam artist and he will lie, lie, lie. He will not do the repairs and he does send strange people to your house that are not certified. So I understand exactly what you went through with that company.

  • Franchise Realty would be a fault for this incedent. If said letter was false as claimant stated that is indefinitely a misrepresentation of certification. In order to mediate the problem, Franchise should submit to claimants terms of settlement, those being the payment of a posting fee ($7.95) and the repair of the A/C Unit, but excluding the repair of the hot/cold valve in the claimants laundry due to the fact that this has no relation to the problem at hand.
