Claimant says:
"Severe corrosion and peeling on my 2008 Lincoln MkZ wheels. The Lincoln dealer charged me $30 to have the rims "fixed" to the point that so much sealant was used that it was oozing out. I had 3 leaky tires for a few weeks losing air daily due to the corrosion on the inside of the rim that is also quite visible on the outside. I have complained to the GM of the Lincoln dealer and to Ford and am getting no where. I was told that because they had not seen me in 2 yrs or 25k miles that I do no qualify for use of their hardship funding to replace my wheels yet they agree the severity of the problem and they do indeed need replacing. Ford/Lincoln is not doing right by a customer. Period. I cannot afford their extreme rates of $85 an hr and choose to have work done locally for $65 hrly."
