Claimant says:
"Flooring and Granite by Silva's/ Joanne Silva claims to offer "free of charge" consulting. Joanne consulted with us in March 2014 for a bathroom renovation. I purchased a silestone slab for the bathroom counter (check written to her ) for $444 from Constantino USA. Her bid ultimately was higher than what was in our budget so we asked her to itemize her bid so we could price out less expensive materials for the remaining materials- shower tile, tub and cabinets. Joanne refused to detail out material costs so we gave her notice that we would be unable to retain her services. At this point, she decided to keep our money as a consulting fee....contrary to her earlier claim of free consulting. After repeated attempts by e-mail, phone calls and texts, she did talk to my husband She actually said that she was keeping our money commenting "That's life"when she hung up on him. She refuses to return or acknowledge any further attempts of communication.
