Statement of Claim

Claimant says:
"I filed a claim for engine damages caused by my own stupidity in July 2017. Farmers sent out a claims rep but did no other investigation other than take my statement. They were negative from the start, saying the claim was not covered before they even investigated. They denied the claim saying the cause was mechanical damage, which they know is not true. The mechanical damage is the result of the loss, not the cause. The cause is my error, which is covered by the policy. The policy clearly states under Comprehensive Coverage "We will pay for loss to your insured car caused by any accidental means excewpt collision, less any applicable deductibles". Under exclusions cause by mechanical damage is excluded. 
  Teh decision to not cover the loss was made by David Day, who does not like my agent because he had another claim he denied and then had to pay due to my agent's intervention. Day passed the claim off to a Hunter Shriner to deny the claim. 
  I filed an insurance department complaint, but they will not intervene on questions of fact.
