"First of all my wife and I called exotic pets ion Las Vegas, NV, we spoke to the owner of the store about purchasing a female three toed box turtle. we exchanged payment info over the phone. the turtle was supposed to ship out on a Tuesday morning and arrive on the Wednesday morning, that went as planned. we received the turtle in such poor health( wouldn't eat wouldn't move, no muscle tone at all and could barely lift up her head) we had to wait to bring her to the vet. so this morning we arrived at the vet they had to give her a shot of antibiotics and she was dehydrated from being shipped or she was in poor health before she was shipped is what the vet told us. so now we have to soak her in warm water with pedialyte, and force feed her with hopes of her getting better."
