Claimant says:
"I purchased a black widow go-kart from Dunhams on June 25 2014. It was a birthday gift for my grandson and we gave it to him on June 27. Approximently 10 days later the clutch went out and the go-kart did not work. We contacted Dunhams and were told to bring it to L&p Supply company in Hutchinson for repair. It is still at L&P supply 2mmonths later because they kept telling us they were waiting for parts. We found out over a month ago that we are the third person to have purchased this same go-kart Cand all three have broken with the same problem.We have called many times trying to return this product because it is a defective item.We have gone over there many times and they will not let us return the item. All they keep saying that it is not their store policy to return items. We found out the first person to purchase this go-kart returned it to the store and he was reimbursed his money. When telling this to the manager of Dunhams we were told that it was because he returned in 24 hours. Now after all this time they tell us they found the parts held up in customs in New York and it will get fixed but they said our warranty is up so if it breaks again which it will now we have no warranty. We have REPEATEDLY told them we do not want a defective item we want our money back and they refuse. We have been fighing this for 2 months and would like it resolved. We also talked to the main headquarters of Dunhams and were told it is up to the store to fix this. Can you help us."
