Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"My experience with Dreyer Medical Clinic was very simple and very bad:
I asked Dreyer Medical Clinic for a complete disclosure of costs before committing on undergoing any kind of care, I was told the costs, then I was charged more.
Yet, the clinic is being unresonably unwilling to fix their mistake, at the point that I have to call what is happening "a fraud".
Also, this situation happened twice out of two visits (each billed in a different month).

Here is the short story:

Since I am not insured, I asked Dreyer Medical Clinic the price of a visit for immigration purposes by calling the phone number 630-897-6044 written on their website:

http://www.dreyermed.com/component/doctorfinder/?view=doctordetail&doctorId=395

and they said the visit would cost 200$, plus immunizations and blood draws.
This Youtube video contains a recording of a call I made after my visit to prove that what I am saying is true and is not an accident (the operators responds at minute 3'28" and the price is spelled out at minute 4'0"):

http://youtu.be/R_0IcTlnKdc

The clinic then charged 264$ for the visit alone, not including blood drawings nor immunizations.
This link shows a scan of their bill:

http://www.aggiuntivipolarizzanti.it/dreyer--medical--clinic--dispute/1st-overcharged-bill-back.PNG

Then I called them to have the bill fixed, but they refused to do it.
The portion between minute 2'57" and 3'09", and the portion between minute 4'32" and 5:37" of the following video:

http://youtu.be/7sMHYGN0U60

contains a discussion on the first bill and their refusal to cooperate.

I sent them a letter to dispute these charges:

and the letter has been delivered:

http://www.aggiuntivipolarizzanti.it/dreyer--medical--clinic--dispute/1st-dispute-delivery-confirmation.PNG

but they just don't feel like fixing this.
All they offered eventually is a discount that doesn't even cover the difference between charges and foretold price.
Furthermore, I can't trust this discount because:
1. it wasn't put in writing and
2. their word has already turned out to be untrustworthy.

The same situation occurred a month later with a second set of invoices.
The same youtube video I posted earlier contains in fact a comprehensive complaint about my second set of invoices as well:

http://youtu.be/7sMHYGN0U60

I sent them another letter to dispute the second set of invoices, to the same P.O. box, but the letter has been returned to me:

http://www.aggiuntivipolarizzanti.it/dreyer--medical--clinic--dispute/USPS-tracking-of-2nd-dispute.pdf

According to employees of the Post Office where I picked it up, they probably shut down the P.O. box.
In the meantime I have found another complaint on overcharges from Dreyer Medical Clinic:

There is actually more to my experience, as the evidence I am showing here only represents a part of my efforts to have their abuses fixed.

I believe that they are counting on being paid anyway because of their clients' fear to indent their credit score or being harassed by them through collection calls.
Since I chose them over their competitors based on the price they told me in advance, they are cheating their competitors as well.

Beware of which businesses you deal with because, if you find yourself in need to dispute your charges and the business isn't honest, you will have to pay with your time, money and stress, whereas the business will have a system in place (to make you pay whatever it wants) and employees that are paid to keep it running.
