"Robert C. Jones was completely disrespectful, rude and obnoxious upon seeing me. He wasnt interested in the facts of my medical history but instead told me to shut up several times and he didnt care about the details of the questions he asked. I'm sorry if he was having a bad day but he has to put that aside when he walks in to see a patient.
He waved his hand in my face several times and rolled his eyes upon meeting me. I'd say he has issues dealing with certain kinds of people. I had to stop him mid sentence and remind him that I came to him so we could discuss and effect a better quality of life for me and not simply treat me as though I had no choice in what he was going to do. I am a 60 year old black man and never in my life have I had such a blatant disregard for my input into my own medical care. I feel for those not strong enough to stand up to this guy and cause him to listen to the patient before deciding what is best for them. The wrong care hangs in the balance. His rudeness and belittling way of talking was unacceptable and I told him that. I told him I would be making a complaint and did to my primary care doctor who referred him to me. They apologized and will be sending me a new referral but what about those who cant do that. Someone has to speak up."
