Claimant says:
"I, Bruce Lysdahl bought a 2006 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition SUV in Oklahoma City, OK on 08/01/2016. Auto Market LLC 4815 NW 39th Oklahoma City, OK was the sales lot.
Auto Market went through Credit Acceptance @ 20.99% Interest. $8469.00 price on the truck---$17,841.76 Total Sales Price. A 48 month loan.
We were told At Auto Mart when asked about the extremely high interest rate we were told by the dealer that he just got off the phone with Credit Acceptance and was told the amount of the loan was to small an amount to go by Bruce's credit score which was 703 (good rating). The 20.99% was a generic number used, after the sale was complete we could call Credit Acceptance and get a much lower % rate.
We have called Credit Acceptance for an explanation 8/05/2016. We were told that there is no lower rate then 20.99%. and no such thing as a generic % rate. We were also told that Credit Acceptance is prim-merely used when the client has little to no credit. The question was asked "why did Auto Mart choose Credit Acceptance", and that is the question. At this time I was told by Credit Acceptance they would start an audit at the corporate level on this transaction.
To date this has not been done.
We see this as FRAUD AND PREDATORY LENDING. To resolve the financial contract it should be VOIDED immediately. Have Auto Mart pick up the 2006 Ford Expedition here in Wichita, and return our trade-in a 2000 Chevrolet S10 Pickup. OR, if sold, the balance of $1000.00.
