Claimant says:
"Heat pump was to be installed to meet requirements for government grant at 48222 Ryder Lake Road which was not performed to meet the government requirements. The "Sear" rating would not qualify as the unit installed was not matched to the existing furnace which Chris Roy also serviced. Suppplier has indicated the installer should have known or should have done proper research so unit would meet the requirements. The furnce was a "Ruud" and the heat pump installed an "American Standard". Live Smart and the supplier have stated these as a combined unit do not meet the requirements. Chris Roy was fully aware of the requirement to meet the specification for the appropriate unit to be installed so requirements could be met. Chris will not reply to current e-mails and in his last correspondence stated he is not responsible and would not compensate."
