Well I’d like to suggest a faster court process but I guess there’s too much crime out there. The DA’s office said it would be close to two years before it goes to grand jury trial. Also if he does prison time then he doesn’t have to pay me back the money or interest. Meanwhile he is out on bond and still scamming people because that’s all he knows and the law just offers him the freedom to do this behavior. It’s just hard to figure out and make sense of it all.

Chad Cline there is a warrant out for your arrest. You need to turn yourself in. As of December you now owe me over $2,466.00. There is interest tagged on every day. Think about it. Think about your wife and child. Think about your future. Process this information and take measures to secure payment and free your conscience of wrongdoing. Mary.

  • I had a similar experience with this person. His reply to my complaint to BBB was that I ran out of money for the project and that is why it was not finished. Not true, I had a total budget for a new roof and a remodel/room addition. The roof project used up the entire budget, so the remodel was put on hold. (I have since had this project done beautifully as well as a large, lovely covered front porch- I have the money!) However, he was quite remiss in timely completion of the roof project, used my son's tools, left huge piles of torn off roofing, insulation, boards and plywood in the yard for weeks, made excuse after excuse for work to be done, completely misrepresented himself by sending unsupervised, unskilled, incompetent workers who didn't have the materials (sheet rock mud) to work, requiring me to purchase the materials, rewired the entire kitchen and back porch incorrectly, did not insulate the attic with the correct amount/inches of blown insulation, did not replace the gutters correctly which has now created a terrible drainage issue, NEVER got a work permit so that NONE of his messy work was inspected, and made the promise after I paid him the final $3000 that his wife and mother in law would be back to clean up the plaster dust that was in every tiny corner and space in the entire house. Of course they never showed up. I am not sure that the roof is any good even after his claim that the entire roof, including shingles, joists, beams, insulation and plywood were replaced. I contacted the NC Board of Licensed Contractors and finally got satisfaction from the NC Board when a satellite office in Wrightsville contacted me regarding other complaints about this person. He assured me that this man would go to jail if he ever again did contracting or electrical work unlicensed and unpermitted. I guess that means only if he gets caught, which we can only hope.
