Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On Friday August 17 2012 I made a call to Century link to ask about the tv, phone@internet service, the number I called was 1-888-641-8509.
The service rep I was talking to was a man Cody. I asked about the bundle package, Cody gave me a price for the tv, phone@internet.He said that the price is locked for 3 and years and there is no contract. I made it clear that I could not have any down time on the phone or internet. Cody told me that I would not be down. Cody told me to phone Coxs and cxl my service. Sat August 18 2012 Directv came to the house on 6635 Treadway Ln. to put the tv feed in I did not think i was dealing with Directv .The tech told me that Directv works with Centurylink. The install went into the house, I ask about the phone @internet I was told that it would be ten days. The Directv tech show my wife about the movie ch, and off@on for the remote. He had my wife sign the paper work and did not go through the paper work and did not say a thing about a contract. I called Centurylink back to see about the phone @ internet this on Monday August 20 20012. I was told that it would be ten days. I called Directv back to cxl my service. I was told that I would have to pay over $400.00 to cxl. I called Centurylink back, went through everything with then. Centurylink even said that I was misled about the contract , phone @internet. The man that told me this was a service rep name Dustin. We talked to a manager about this, she even said that I was misled, she even tried to get with the Directv manager. The manager from centurylink said was sorry about this, I was misled and that there would more training for their employees. The manager from Directv said she understood the problem but there was nothing she could do. I feel that I was misled about the deal and I though I was dealing with one company. I should not have to pay for a cxl fee."
