Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I signed up with Dish/Century link approximate three months ago. When I received my first invoice it was for a lot more than agreed upon. I called Century Link and they agreed to adjust the amount. I ask to have it e-mailed to me but was told it would be mailed. When I received the new statement it was for the correct amount but was due the next day. I again called Century Link' They wanted me to send electronicly, and I informed them I was not set up to do so. I told them I would put a check in the mail that day but it would be late getting to them. The lady said that would be OK. I question weather it would show up as a late payment and was told she would red flat my account so it does not show late. I received my latest statement today it there was a late charge of $6.00. This means there will be information of late payment on my credit report.

The second problem is Century Link cut my neighbors Cox cable when installing a new phone line to my house. Cox laid a temporary cable around the back of mine and my neighbors house. The problem is the cox tech. said it would be 5-6 weeks before a under ground cable would be installed. I called Century Link to complain about how long it was to correct properly and was told to call Cox. My replay was that not being a cox customer and the fact I had dropped Cox a month earlier I did not think they would care. She then told me to have the neighbor call cox and complain and I informed her that Century Link cut the cable and I was a Century link customer and that they should fix the problem. I conversation then got heated and she hung up."
