Statement of Claim

Claimant says:
"I cancelled the service in writing April 19, 2010 with a letter that included the final payment which covered the amount due through the end of the contract which was June 2010. The company continues to send invoices and call requesting payment for services beyond the end of the contract. The cancellation letter was sent with a check for the final 3 months of the contract. The check was cashed proving the letter was received despite the claims of the company of never having received the notice.

After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau the issue was finally resolved by Ms. Polanco's entry (copy attached):

The account will be removed from collections and the status changed to "paid in full." No further obligation will be due from Mr. Donnelly.

Subsequently Castlerock put my account into collections and now a negative entry has been placed on my credit report. Per Ms. Polanco's promise to the BBB I request that all collection activities cease and the entry be removed from my credit report."
