Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Buffet. They had 3slices of vegetarian pizza left Ann's said they had more on the way. 1.5hr later as I was asking for vegetarian pizza for the 4th time a man comes up and ask" how long to make a pizza". female employee says "8minutes" and as I sat and watched her she gives him a cheese pizza opens it up to show me and him and gives me this dirty look. I couldn't ask for a manger after that who wants spit pizza any ways. Me , my wife and kid left hungry after 2hrs in total of watching them. What ever the problem was and I was 100% nice and friendly to them so I don't know.im guessing Hispanics are not welcome is all I can see. 23.80$ to be taunted while my 3yr old was complaining about be hungry should be refunded. And a kkk flag should be posted to let people know who is welcome and not welcome should be posted in the front."

    My name is Alejandro Romero and I am the GM of Candelaris Pizzeria for the Washington Store.
    I am so sorry that you were treated unhappily at our restaurant.
    I try hard to teach my staff that our customers are the most important to the success of our restaurant.
    I would like to know the date and time of this event in order to make the right decision.
    I'm not saying that's not true what you say, but it is hard to believe that someone has treated you with racist tendencies, especially in candelaris where 75% of employees are Hispanic, including myself and my assistant manager.
    Anyways, we are questioning our staff and trust me, we will take appropriate action.
    Let me express my deepest apologies. You deserve only the best service, especially when you visit Candelaris’s. Thank you for reporting this incident.
    Your comments regarding the service you received at our store are very important to us.
    I would like to invite you to come to the restaurant to talk to me about what happened.
    We really want you as a costumer. Please let us show you how well we can treat you.

  • Madison was the name of the hateful lady. It's not cool to take my money and then try and make me feel like I have to beg to get my money's worth and even worse was doing it to my three yr old and wife.
    I thought about the whole situation on how I could have changed the way I was treated on there is nothing. My kid was acting good that day as well. I
    I'm not interested in accepting food with hate on the menu so I decline stepping into your place. Having 75% Hispanic staff don't mean a thing if you hide them in the back and treat them less favorable then others .
    I know what the area around you looks like and the white image that needs to be portrayed but that don't justify treating your customers like crap just because you got my money all ready, leaving the(Hispanic) customers with no choice but to beg for food. I got the hint loud and clear I'm not trying to fix any ones issue but I refuse to pay for racism .
