Claimant's opinion: I bought a 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac from Brandon Reeves Auto World, at 950 W. Roosevelt Blvd. in Monroe, North Carolina on 8/13/2016, The salesman was James Connelly and the general manager is Joe Harris. I initially went to pick up the truck 2 days prior and after driving the vehicle noticed it pulled to the left very badly. I was on the test driver with James Connelly at the time and he agreed the front end needed alignment. I went to pick it up on 8/13/2016 and noticed a "bumpiness" in the ride. I was advised that was the 'normal" way the suspension was on this type vehicle. The ride got progressively worse and I took it back to the dealership 2 weeks later and the service manager checked it out and said there was no problem with it. We had a significant rain in the next week and when I went outside I noticed there was condensation in the 3rd brake light and looked inside the vehicle to notice water on the floor. Also noticed condensation in the left front fog light. I brought this to the attention of the dealership, spoke with Joe Harris and he advised they could not replace either of these items. On October 13th I took my truck to Capital Ford on N. Tryon Street in Charlotte because the shaking was getting worse in the vehicle and was advised the next day that the ball joints needed to be replaced and both rear tires had steel belts separating in them. I went to visit the dealership (Brandon Reeves) on October 17th, 2016 and advised the situation and the approximate $1100 cost to fix the 3rd brake light, fog light and ball joints as provided estimate by Capital Ford. I was advised by Joe Harris that this was an issue they could not help me with and it was on my own. I have an extended warranty which only covers $120 of the cost. I feel like I have been treated very badly with the whole customer experience, or lack thereof and especially since I paid cash for this vehicle and was assured by the dealership that it had been thoroughly checked out. Very, very poor customer service and response from the dealership and I will never deal with them again and would certainly not advise anyone else to.

PeopleClaim is a new way to resolve disputes online without lawyers or mediators. By inviting suggestions from the public, disputing parties get ideas that can lead to settlement – and the person(s) who contributed them can win a reward.
Here's what to do: Read the case (left side of page). Then go to the bottom of the page and enter your suggestion in the space provided. Click the Solution button.
Your suggestion will be sent to both parties and will post on the claim. If the two sides agree to settle based on your suggestion, you're eligible to win.
