Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"First off we moved to a new home. Before we moved I notified AT & T to transfer my Telephone to My New address in August 2015, this was around the 20th of August 2015. I was informed that the earliest it could be down was August 30th 2015. I agreed that was ok and it was scheduled for then. Then I had to postpone for 2 weeks. Again no problem. 2 weeks September 14, they came to install my internet but not the phone like I was told ,after waiting all day for the phone installer, I called AT & T and got nasty and told them they had best get someone out to install my phone as ordered. They told me Wednesday (after an hour long telephone argument with them) an installer would come out for the phone. I told them if no one showed by end of business hours on the 16th, I would go with another company. They never transferred my old acct, they never cancelled my old phone #, They are charging a Service Charge of $240 for the Internet without any explanation and I can't answers from them and they are also charging me a Service Charge of $60.00 for my phone service. Again no explanations. We have called and talked to AT & T and still no explanation. Also they never informed us (my wife or me) of any service charges on any installation either internet or phone. I also transferred my DIRECTV Service to my new home. DIRECTV was installed but still isn't the way we want it and are paying for. We want to split the house 2 TV's on the main Floor and 3 TV's on the bottom floor. 2 separate master Genies(they use the term Master Genies) they say they can't do that and can't tell me why. I am tired of the run around. I am tired of talking to people that don't know the answers to my questions. Last but not least, everything was supposed to be Bundled together (The Internet, The Phone and The DIRECTV Service) and they told my wife today (AT & T) they can't bundle and couldn't tell her why. I am sick and tired of no answers and no explanations. I want answers and I want them either in person or to my home Phone # which they have on file. If needed I will provide that information. Our cell phones are not our home phone #s. Our cell phones have a 620 area code and our home phone has a 316 area code. Use the phone # with the 316 area code.

  • Being charged for old service that was previously paid for and discussed with AT & T at least 2 months prior to their billing me. At that time it was resolved and removed from my account and now it has popped up and it takes over an hour with customer service just waiting for a supervisor to talk to who speaks clearly and distinctly and comprehends what I am telling them. I can't get a customer service agent that speaks English without a foreign accent or pronounce my name correctly.
