Claimant says:
"I have have had the service for over a year and suddenly for the first time I was over. I hardly ever used the internet in the 18 months I had the device. The charges were for over usage of internet use in a two day priod that added up to $535. Thats rediciulus. NO way any Internet service is worth that much. When I called the customers servise on the 13th of November 2010, The service rep informed me of the amount of usage and It wasn't near $60. SO At that moment I asked him to cancell the plan of if there was anything I can do so I would have to pay the $85 cancellation fee. He told me he would change it over to a regular phone line and I would only pay $9.95 per month until may then I could cancel the number at that time free of charge. That would be better because I would only have 4 payments becasue of the credit I would get for paying the regular internet bill for the month and without having the service. I said that was fine and the change was made. I reviewed the bill on november 22 and saw the chargeof $535. I called ATT customer service and they told me the info I recieved on the 13th of nov was an approx. How can they be off nearly $500 on an internet that didn't work have the time. Ive been with att for over 14 years and I have always paid my phone bills. I currently have 5 lines which a I pay every month. all I want is for these charges to be dismissed. The usage may have been there but no internet usage for two days is worth $535. After all these years of paying almost $300 a month, I think this charge is nothing to be removed."
