Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Our client Ms. Ford Purchased a Canon EOS 5D Digital Camera from Amazon Marketplace # 103-22004821-6529865. There were Several Issues with the Camera in the first few days of use, so Ms. Ford called Canon they have a comprehensive knowledge/Factory Service Center about the camera to help Diagnose the problems she has been experiencing estimated costs of $200.00 she paid it for focusing issues.

After they received the camera and after evaluation Canon sent it back . They estimated repairs to the new camera @ $1,900.98 so now she knows the camera just does not need simple adjustment it has major problems.

She contacted Amazon with diagnosed problems from Canon.

No one tampered with the camera only Canon diagnosed the problems! No one has repaired the problems. This is a normal procedure to contact the manufactures first; Amazon is known for its dependability but Ms. Ford has been denied camera repair or reimbursement and or any assistance by Amazon staff even at her expense of diagnosing/facts of the problems.

Unity are making this attempt to clarify and seek relief from Amazon for Ms. Ford before legal action.

To purchase with confidence from Amazon is not buying with a guarantee any longer the staff that have responded need to understand the facts involved.

    Subject: Re: Shipping inquiry from Amazon customer Takenya Ford

    Hello. Just wanted to let you know I have found legal representation and am going to continue pursuing this. Legally speaking the manufacturer does not count as a third party. I also already have a written statement from you saying that you are willing to fix it. I am not going to let this drop, you sold me a defective camera and have screwed me out of $1100 + dollars and 3 months of headaches.

    We'll be in touch soon. Or you could just follow through with what you originally promised which was to fix the camera and I will drop the whole thing.
