Claimant says:
"I signed a contract with their alarm system late in the day of Aug 5, 6 or 7th, not sure (there is not a date on the contract that I signed) & their techniciian came the same day, after 7 in the evening & changed out some equipment. After a couple or so days I decided that I wanted to stay with my old alarm system, some of the equipment was not working and not fuly installed. I called them and they said that I was past the period that I could cancel with out having to pay $2000. to get out of the contract. Needless to say that can't happen. There was not a monthly amont that would be charged on the contract & their office was not sure either. No date set to start drawing who knows how much out of my bank account but I think it was more than I was previously paying. They said their service was local...we live in Hobbs and they are in Albuquerque. It was not explained that there was a time limit on when I could change my mind. Now they are telling me that I have to prove when I call they. What do I do?"
