Claimant says:
"I believe I am a victim o fraud with this Aamaco located 6737 s. western ave. This aamaco and extended warranty warrantech has committed fraud. Aamaco has charged me 1925.00 saying they rebuilt my transmission and refused to produce an invoice and saying that the warrantech had denied my claim but when I CALLED WARRANTECH CLAIM DEPARTMENT i WAS TOLD THAT A CLAIM WAS NEVER FILED. Aamaco management (Jerry) stated he had done a lot of business for them and that I NEED TO SUE THEM AND THAT THEY WERE LIEING AND GAVE ME A SPECIFIC PERSON TO CALL. I apoke with that individual but when i tried to call the claim number that was provided in my contract I was told that they had never received a claim from aamaco and how can they deny a claim that was never filed. I did seek legal assisatance and I am currently in the process of recieving legal assistance and I WAS TOLD THAT THAT SEEMS AS IF THEY WERE TRYING TO COMITT FRAUD AND IT IS ILLEGAL TO NOT PROVIDE AN INVOICE. I WAS RECEIVING CALLS DAILY FROM A REPRESENTATIVE AT AAMACO SAYING THEY PUT MY OLD TRANSMISSION BACK IN, BUT I STATED TO THIS JOHN AT AAMACO HOW CAN YOU PUT MY OLD TRANSMISSION BACK IN IF YOU REBUILT IT WITH ALL NEW PARTS."

1. I will take this matter to court. I have phone calls and witnesses in my behalf regarding this issue. Jerry at amaco stating I needed 475.00 for the repaurs and aJohn stating I needed1925.00 for the rebuilt trans. I will take this to court and pursue the amount if judgement. They are not being honest and I was told that my trans had been rebuilt. Sep 19, 2011 N/A

The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:

  • "Hunter only owes $39 for a diagnostic, plus $65 tow charge, plus storage that has accrued since August 20th of $35 per day. Her continued failure to pay these charges remove her vehicle from the center will leave us no alternative but to legally go for title, and sell the car to pay what she will then owe."
