Claimant says:
"They came to my home to fix a drainage leak in my floor that was a slab foundation. They didn't have any concrete on their truck and so had to go to Lowe's to get some. Lowe's is 3 miles from my home. They were gone for a hour and charged us $169.00 for that hour. I believe they came unprepared because they came without any concrete at all and at most it should have taken 20 mins. at most to go get some. When we spoke to the manager he got angry because I said I was going to call the BBB. In the end the manager hung up on me which I think is unprofessional even if he was angry."

  • A-1 claims it is standard to start charging the customer from when they start loading their truck and not when they arrive at your home. It should be mandatory to tell customers when charges start if they charge $169.00 and hour and drive time cost the customer.
