Claimant says:
"Saturday Sept 23, 2017 I was dropping some customers of at Hampton apartments in Highland, Indiana. I am an Uber driver an being the gentleman as I am, I helped them carry their luggage to the apartment. While doing this my vehicle was towed. This is my first time to this complex and second there was no signs posted up for me to see, if I could not leave my vehicle without it being towed. It was not even ten minutes while helping this customer up to the apartment and my vehicle was gone. There was tenants outside the complex and a Highland police officer across the way looking at these individuals take my car. The low life towing company have a driver and another person on the lookout. Highland Indiana police states they get many complaints about this company and nothing has been done. I was fined one hundred and eighty dollars which I did not have to spare. I phoned the apartment manager by the name of Jamie whom states all tenants know about the parking and was surprised they did not inform me. Jamie apologized and tried calling the company to reduce pricing. These two individuals Jamie of the Hampton apartments in Highland and Gary of Allpro towing in Dyer indiana worked together because she agreed with the towing company. The police stated complaints were made to the mayor himself how rude and disrespectful is that. I am doing my job Ubering and then go out my way to help someone but I get towed and hit with this nonsense. I made a police report because everyone out in the area felt bad this happened but not Allpro towing. I had my Uber sign in window I do at all times but this company falsely lied on me. The sign was still in window when car was picked up."
