"I am a disabled American veteran who suffers with PTSD. and other medical problems.I used clear creek tax co. in Jan. 2012 Mr.Matthew Schllier was my tax attorney and I must say he did a good job. he charged me a flat rate of $2,500 to take my case. in Nov.2012 matthew let me no he needed more money. I let him no that I would wait until the IRS cleared the returns and we would proceed at that time. NOW LETS FASTFORWARD TO JAN 2014 THE RETURNES CLEARED AND I CALLED CLEAR CREEK TO GIVE MATTHEW KNOW THE RESULTS AND TO GET THE BALL ROLLING AGAIN. WELL WHEN I CALLED I FOUND OUT MATTHEW DID NOT WORK THER ANY MORE. AND I WAS TRANSFERED TO A MARK LAUGHIN. HE CALLED ALMOST EVERY DAY LETTING ME NO THAT HE COULD GET ME A GOOD DEAL WITH THE IRS FOR THE BACK TAXES I OWED SO I AGREED AND THE FLAT RATE WAS 2,500$ TO TAKE THE CASE. NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT AFTER I PAYED MY MONEY I FOUND OUT THAT MARK DID NOT WORKED THERE ANY MORE. SO A MR THOMAS CONRAD CALLED ME AND TOLD ME HE WOULD BE HANDLING MY CASE AND THAT THE FEE OF $2,500 WAS A FLAT FEE AND HE NEEDED TIME TO REVIEW THE CASE BECAUSE ALL OF THIS WAS DUMPED ON HIM DUE TO MARK LAUGHLIN LEAVING THE FIRM. AFTER I PAYED MY MONEY I COULD NOT GET THEM ON THE PHONE.I LEF SEVERAL VOICE MESSEGES AND I TALKED TO THOMAS CONRAD MABE TWICE. THEN IN MAY MR CONRAD CALLED ME TH LET ME NO THAT HE WAS READY TO MOVE FOWARD WITH CASE BUT HE NEEDED ANOTHER $4,000. HE STSTED THE $2,500 HAD BEEN USED TO PAY FOR SERVICES FEROM 2012. HOW COULD THAT BE WHEN IT WAS A FLAT FEE. AND ON THE 2014 MONEY I JUST PAYED. NO WORK WAS DONE TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE I CANT BELIEVE THAT TOOK ADVANTAGED OF ME AND TAKE MY MONEY AND NOT PRODUCE NOTHING FOR SERVICE I AM SO HURT THAT HE CAN STEAL MY MONEY AND PROVID ANY SERVICES. SO I ASKED FOR A REFUND. HE TOLD ME THAT HE DID NOT WORK FOR FREE. BUT HE TOLD ME WHEN HE TOOK THE CASE IT WAS A FLAT FEE AND NOT BY THE THE HOUR.SO HE CLOSED MY CASE WITH OUT DOING NOTHING TO SOLVE MY TAX ISSUES. I AM SO HURT AS AN DISABLE AMERICAND VETERAN THAT HAVE LIMITED INCOME THAT THIS COMPANY WOULD PULL A BAIT AND SWITCH ON ME THE ARE ON THE RIPOFF REPORT AND THE BBB BAD LIST PLEASE CAN YOU HELP ME RECIEVE A REFUND. THEY SHOULDBE BANNED FROM DOING BUSINESS IN THE USA."
