Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I AM CHERRYL BORDONADO. I BOUGHT SOME ITEMS FROM JEWELRYROOM.COM WHICH I PAID FOR. AFTER ABOUT 4 INVOICES I ASKED THEM WHY THE ITEMS WERE NOT BEING SHIPPED. THEY SAID THEY WANTED ME TO PRODUCE A BANK STATEMENT, UTILITY BILL, PROOF OF VALIDITY OF CARD ETC. I SAID I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A COMPANY THAT HAS ALREADY GOTTEN MY MONEY AND THEN ASKING FOR EXTRA ID. THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT TRANSACT BUSINESS WITH ME OTHERWISE. BEING A TRUSTING PERSON I JUST TOLD THEM OK JUST REFUND MY MONEY. I WROTE MY BANK EXPLAINED THE CIRCUMSTANCES AND THAT THE ITEMS I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR ARE DISPUTED. I SAW SOME CREDITS ON MY ONLINE STATEMENT AND THOUGHT JEWELRYROOM HAD ALREADY REFUNDED ME. I DID NOT REALIZE THEY WERE TEMPORARY CREDITS GIVEN ME BY MY BANK UNTIL THE CASE WAS RESOLVED. THIS WAS IN SEPTEMBER. I WENT TO NEW YORK AND JUST YESTERDAY FOUND OUT THAT I HAD CHARGES AGAIN IN MY BANK. I ASKED THE BANK WHAT THAT WAS AND THEY SAID THAT JEWELRYROOM INSISTED THAT THEY HAD MAILED THE MERCHANDISE. I WAS AGHAST. APPARENTLY THE NEIGHBOR WAS SIGNING FOR THE BOXES AND PUTTING THEM IN THE GARAGE. I NEVER KNEW ABOUT THIS BECAUSE JEWELRYROOM WAS VERY VEHEMENT THAT THEY WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ME. THAT WAS THE MOST DECEPTIVE DEVIOUS THING I EVER HEARD THAT A COMPANY HAS EVER DONE. THEY SAID THEY DID NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH ME AND THEN THE MERCHANDISE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE SO AT THIS POINT I HAVE PAID $3,740.41 FOR GOODS THAT I RESCINDED THE ORDER. i ASKED MY UNCLE TO MAIL THOSE UNOPENED BOXES IN THE GARAGE TO THEM BECAUSE AS FAR AS I KNOW THERE WAS NO TRANSACTION. HOW JEWELRYROOM CAN DO A THING LIKE THIS IS BEYOND ME. AND THEY CHANGED THE PRODUCTS IN THE INVOICES TOO. THEY CHOSE THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEMS AND SENT THEM TO ME. AT THIS POINT WHAT I WANT IS THAT MY MONEY BE REFUNDED AND THE SHIPPING COST TO SEND THOSE BOXES TO THEM BE REFUNDED AS WELL. I NEVER THOUGHT ANYBODY COULD BE AS CROOKED AS THIS."

    We have gone through this situation over and over again. We have a very simple business, it’s an honest auction system. You do not need to pay anything unless you won the auction. And we have detailed descriptions and multi-photos to assist customers in making the best decision. After purchase, if you like it, you can keep it, if you do not like it we have chat and eticket system which allow you to resolve, exchange or refund items. What else do you think it’s needed for a simple honest business. Why are you making it so complicated? We must have chatted and eticket messaged near 50 times with you.

In any case I hope you have a really good year this 2014, And I hope I can be friends again with you and your company”

    Cherryl, this is your second registered jewelryroom’s accounts and used an entire different name. Due to your first account with similar issue, we had to temporarily pend your account until issue been completely resolved. As we have talked before, we are not here to scam or make enemies. We are legit business running over a decade with an average over 2000 visitors each day. All our diamonds, gemstones, gold and silver are 100% genuine and real. The fact is we have shipped all your shipment and you proceed chargeback refund. You now have the products and the money, we will move this case forward with our attorney if you decided not returning our goods. This action is not acceptable to any companies in this world.

  • I have sent all the boxes back and Tina has acknowledged receipt of the boxes but up to now, although refund was promised I have not received any refund. My bank says they will remove the temporary credit they have given me so I need to have this refund. Pleas resolve this as soon as possible.
