Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"before i moved in thurs 7/3/2014 no one told me the place has a leak from the sewer. Allll my neighbors told me! fri, i moved more stuff in and the toilet leaked ~ they say they did not receive my pleas for help ( i have witness' ) . Next day the office assured me all was fixed. I mopped up the wet floor, put down more rags, and took the wet rags ones home with me. Brought more stuff over. Next Wednesday, 7/9/14 brought more stuff over, and the kitchen is flooded.

The office says the handyman was in there earlier and everything was dry. I started to drive back to my other place, they call me, I come back, and show the wet floor to the handyman..

I tell them I am not moving in here, and will be back for my money on Thursday, or they can give me the next available apartment.

Come back on Thursday, pack up my stuff, the manager Linda tells me she is sure that I did this myself. She also says they will not rent me another apartment and they give me back 700 of my 800 dollars.

The lady who was living in this apartment moved upstairs because of the sewer water. Everybody who lives there swears that apartment has leaks for years.

I want my other hundred dollars. The place is a pigsty. Everyone throws their garbage by the front door.

They should have told me about the sewer Before I signed the lease.

do not Understand how the health department allows this."
