Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"My girlfriend and i purchased two cell phone chosen on the mail and rebate. We purchased these phones the day after Thanksgiving. Upon purchase the sales lady told us it's not uncommon for mistakes with the rebate. So the sale rep. filled out the paper work for the rebate herself and told us all we had to do was stamp and mail the envelope in. It's been over 7 months and still no rebate i called Verizon customer service to ask what was happening with our rebate and why we haven't got it and they apologized and told us they were going to put 250 dollars on our credit card and that the process would take a couple days. I called back 2 days later 6/11/14 to see if they could put the money that was suppose to go on our credit card towards our bill instead... I was then told by an account manager that I had made up the whole thing and that I never sent the mail and rebate. That I was lying. I was also told since I didn't get my rebate in time that I was no longer eligible to receive the rebate that was agreed on when we purchased the phone..I've been insulted, told I was a liar and spoken to like I don't pay for my service. I will not let this go. Even if I have to pursue legal action and will be looking for another cell phone provider"
