I had a home warranty plan with Select Home Warranty
In the middle of winter my heat went out. I called Select Home Warranty. They said they would contact their contractors from my area and they would get in touch with me within 24 hours. Two days later, no call. Called them back and they gave me the contact for my repair. Called him, he answered. When i said I was calling about my heater covered by select home warranty he hung up on me. I tried three more times to call him, no answer. I called Select back . And with me on the phone they tried to call him. No answer.

They then told me to contact my own repair company. They told me these parts have not been available since 1966 . They would have to replace entire unit. I got 3 bids, 8k 6k and $3800 They called select and after being shuffled to 4 different people. They said under the they won’t cover that part . I looked at contract.it said we cover this parts and 10 other parts so I said I’ll pay for that part you cover the parts that are covered. Their reply was it don’t work that way. I said if I take my brand new car to the shop for warranty for my wiper blades won’t work that you can’t fix it because one tire is low on air. The guy laughed at me and hung up. I called ten times and got the same run around. I googled select home warranty scam.

There are hundreds of people that got scammed as well the Contrators on the same page said they fired them for non payment. Google it you will see.
I’m out 3800 and yeah I would like to sue them pro bono

    Your supervisor said he didn’t have to cover parts in the contract that clearly are
    Covered by your contract. You left me with no heat for a month in mid winter.
