  • I went to a Festival on July 27th, 2014 and bought a baby dragon that was supposedly pregnant with twins. The man running the booth sold me the anole (baby dragon) and a complete set up and said I would never have to clean it and the anole and the babies soon to be born and could all live in this plastic tank. He told what they ate and how to care for them etc… I spent $45 for everything and was told that www.mybabydragon.com had all the info I would need and that this was his website.
    Came home and you have to pay to go on his website and retrieve any info. I contacted my vet who told me the set up was horrible, the anole was not pregnant and that I had to start from scratch and buy a whole new set up. I feel horrible that this man is killing these animals by giving out bad information and doing it all for a profit. This is all the false info he told me:
    anoles love to be held (wrong, it stresses them out)
    if you have a plant in their tank they you never need to clean it (wrong, it will cause death if you don't clean it)
    you never have to give it live food (wrong, it's the only way they will survive)
    and finally that my anole was pregnant with twins and they would hatch all this the set up he gave me (wrong- you have to remove the eggs or the mother will eat them)
