Claimant says:
"This company broke their contract. They were to pick up my househld goods on July 24th 2014 They promised in contract for this date. They first said 9AM TO 12, When i called, they said 12 to 3pm. They never showed. Some person called "Carlos" called later that day to said he would be moving me in about 2 days. with a change in payment. i gave Moveit co a $695.00 deposit, and according to their contract, i was to pay balance by bankers check in Melbourne, Fl. Carlos demanded half of balance in CASH, and half CASH in Melbourne. This "Carlos" was to pick up at 9am the coming saturday. They did not show up. i called and they said 12pm till 3pm. They did not show that day. They changed pick up to Sunday 8am, They did not show. At this time, i was fed up with this company (EliteUSA co.) and called a local mover. MoveitUSA claims i cancelled with their contract. i say this is some sort of scam.
i have tried through numerous phone calls, and various agencies with no resolution. i am 82 yrs old and feel that i was ripped off. Can you help me?"

  • Their Website claims they are not a broker. A company called "EliteUSA" from New Jersy stated they were picking up order with new payment terms (cash), and new pick up times, and delivery. How come different company? and should they have copy of manifest from MoveIt on Thusday pick up?
