Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"on 2/3/2016 Approximately 5:30 a.m. I was ambushed trying to get into my apartment. I was Rob by two black, males, with an UZI Gun. they took my wallet, that has 200.00 dollars in cash in it. my Drivers License, my Houses Keys, and they took off with my car. I call the police, made a police Report. I identified one of the Robbers A Resident of the Housing Authority of Covington. where I live. in my lease state that any Criminal Activity that threatens the health, safety or right to peaceful enjoyment of the Landlord premises by other Residents or landlord Employees, or any Drug Related Criminal Activity engaged in by the Resident, any member of the Resident's Household, Guest or another person under the Resident's control, shall be cause for termination/non-renewal of occupancy as provided by Section 5101 of the Anti Drug Abuse Act of 1988, amendments of Section 6 (1) of the United States Housing Act of 1937, and Title 24 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 966, and/or Federal, State, and Local Law. Proof of violation shall not require criminal conviction, but shall be by a preponderance of the evidence. This policy is posted in the Landlord's Management Office, where copies are available upon request. Evictions for criminal activity or drug related criminal activity will be governed by 42 U.S.C. 4137d(1)(6) as implemented by 24 C.F.R. 966.4(f)(12)(I) and will not be governed by the grievance procedure of the authority."

  • When I reported to my property manager that I was ambushed and rob, by one of the Resident, she recommend that I Just move. Did Not evict the resident that rob me. Because Black lives don't matter to her.

  • On 2/3/2016 at approximately 5:30 a.m. I was Ambushed by two of the resident, Fact is that I am very suer who they are. And since this incident happen to me, I have been having pain in the back of my head. Having nightmares, about guns, and being killed by guns. Can't sleep at night, thinking about the attack against me, with guns pointed at me. And my life about to be destroyed by Bullits. And knowing that my manager, continue to let my attackers live in this community which they are residents, knowing that they dramatized and committed arm robbery against another resident. She automatically should evict that resident family. Fact is that it's illegal to have an urz gun on government property.knowing that my attackers just blocks away keeps me on edge, and guessing when will they attack again. So I will seek medical attention for my problem that accure on 2/3/2016

  • Emotional Distress Anxiety Depression due to negligent acts from another resident. I was terrify when they pointed a uzi gun at my head, I thought I was going to die that day. And don't no one care.
