Now I'm not as green as I'm cabbage-looking, so of course I tried to x out the window. No go. Even tried the OK, with some trepidation. Frozen. Oh, the security issue is so bad that my whole computer is frozen, right? This is where the more guileless among us promptly call the number for "Support for Apple" and buy a fix, thinking that a) they really do have a security problem b) they really are calling Apple. No doubt there is a Windows version, too.

Me, I did a Force Quit, then ran a bug removal program. But these companies enrage me because some people fall for this scam. And yes, in my opinion this is a scam, and a disgrace and I will report it wherever I can."
