Claimant says:
"I hired Dave Kersey with Fine Line Remodeling and Drywall in Nov 2014 to remove a load bearing wall in my home. The work was completed and full cash payment was made.

In July of 2016 when getting the home inspection done to sell my home the inspector found that the Joist Hangers had not been attached to the I-Beam as noted by Dave on his proposal and invoice to me. See attached invoice.

I contacted Dave and tried to have him come complete this so my home would pass inspection and close sale. I tried to complete this task myself with the help of a friend but it was still not right and I had no choice at this point but to hire another company to come and complete the work.

I have been in contact with Dave and to date he has paid me $300 of the $600 I had to pay the other contractor. See attached invoice to High & Dry Roofing Co.

I have all the text messages between Dave and myself where he agrees to pay me the added expense to fix his oversight but after the $300 was paid all I receive are "the checks in the mail" promises but no check ever arrives."
